In the range of products of Polychem Systems Sp. o.o. there are particularly polyurea systems (Purex AM) as well as a hybrid system (HB Purex-RN). The differences in the properties of these types of materials are due to the presence of hydroxyl groups (-OH) in the hybrid system. In the “pure” polyurea there are only amino groups (-NH2). The presence of the “-OH” groups have an impact on the polymer properties – mechanical parameters of the hybrids are lower than in case of polyurea. The temperature and processing pressure can be lower, at the same time it should be remembered that the hybrid is more sensitive to moisture during the spraying process.
