On 18th February 2025 Polychem Systems CEO, Jerzy Rogalski, was awarded the Order of Merit of the Faculty of Chemical Technology of the Poznań University of Technology’ by the PUT Chancellor prof. dr hab. inż. Teofil Jesionowski, and by the Dean of the PUT Faculty of Chemical Technology prof. dr hab. inż. Ewa Kaczorek! This award is particularly special because for the first time it was given to a representative of the industry, and not to a scientist.
Mr. Rogalski is deeply committed to the close cooperation of Polychem Systems and the PUT Faculty of Chemical Technology, both in the teaching process, and in the promotion of scientific activities. The cooperation includes:
- internships for students,
- assistance in working on diploma theses, including confidential ones,
- research and development projects with employees of the PUT Faculty of Chemical Technology,
- financing and providing chemical reagents necessary for laboratory classes,
- supporting the organization of the ‘inPUT’ Chemistry Knowledge Competition and the Chemical Technology Congress.
Jerzy Rogalski is also the Chairman of the Social Council of the Faculty of Chemical Technology on behalf of the business community. The Council enables closer cooperation between the scientific sector and representatives of industrial sectors and works intensively towards promoting chemistry among young scientists. In addition, working closely with the Poznań University of Technology ensures the constant flow of knowledge between business and the world of science, and allows for advanced research and product testing, which translates into constant improvement of Polychem Systems products’ quality.
