On 19-20 November 2025, Robert Wiśniewski and Maciej Połyga from Polychem Systems took part in the 5th BioOrg Symposium on Bioorganic and Organic Chemistry and Biomaterials organised by the Foundation for the Development of Poznań University of Technology.

A meeting place of science and industry, the Symposium brought together experts, students and representatives of the chemical industry.

Polychem Systems was among the sponsors of this event.

Key topics

Scientists focused on current trends in chemistry and biochemistry, such as:

  • synthesis of organic compounds
  • catalysis and biocatalysis
  • recycling of raw materials and materials.

The topics discussed are in line with the areas that Polychem Systems is exploring in its R&D projects.

Working together with PUT

Polychem Systems’ participation in the event is a reflection of the importance of its cooperation with the Poznań University of Technology.

This partnership provides access to the latest knowledge, supports R&D, enables internships and work placements for students of the PUT Faculty of Chemical Technology in our company, and helps combine theory with industrial practice.

Meetings with laboratory equipment manufacturers

The symposium also featured presentations and discussions with manufacturers of laboratory equipment.

Participants learned about new analytical tools and solutions supporting the product testing process.

Our goal: development of industry

Polychem Systems consistently builds cooperation between science and business, believing that joint initiatives contribute to the development of innovation and of the entire chemical sector.
